Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. was proud to have hosted the Western Canadian Aviation Forum on May 2 & 3, 2013.
This year's forum, MAXIMUM VELOCITY - Unleashing the Power of Aviation, was held to help map out Canada’s aviation strategy for the 21st century.
The consumers’ expectation of air service as defined by access, price, and availability of infrastructure to meet their need for connectivity continues to increase. The Canadian aviation sector has risen to those challenges and is light-years from where it was 20 years ago. But have we gone far enough?
Featuring internationally renowned and respected speakers, informative panel discussions clearly defining the issues and options, and working break-out sessions for participants to share their views and solutions, MAXIMUM VELOCITY was an important initiative that will help to ensure the aviation sector in Canada lives to its potential as a facilitator of economic growth and prosperity.
